As I walked into my beautiful indoor studio in Puyallup, I was excited for my clients to see the neutral tones and soft lighting that would be perfect for the classic newborn photography session I had planned. I was excited to take Seattle studio lifestyle newborn family photos for them! I had been looking forward to this session for weeks, as it was a special family photo shoot with a precious newborn girl and their fur baby.
As I began the session, I found myself drawn to the simplicity and beauty of the neutral backdrop, allowing the focus to be on the sweet interactions between the parents, their newborn baby, and their beloved dog. I wanted to capture the genuine love and connection that filled the room, creating timeless and meaningful images that would be cherished for years to come.
This family made the session smooth and easy, as they followed the prep packet and advice I gave them prior to the studio newborn session. I was able to capture authentic and candid images that truly reflected the family’s unique dynamic.
Something I really pride myself on is the amount of photos I deliver to families after each newborn session. I give clients the best photos from their session and convert them all into black and white as well. This particular gallery was 348 photos and as you can see from the photos in this post, they got a wide variety of poses.
One of the best parts of the newborn session was having their fur baby come along! I think it’s important to include the family’s “first” baby and it always makes for great photos! So, whether its a cat or dog, I encourage them to be a part of at least one family photo!
As the session came to an end, I felt a sense of fulfillment and gratitude for being able to capture such precious memories for this beautiful family. It was moments like these that reminded me why I love being a photographer, capturing the essence of love and connection in its purest form.
In the end, I couldn’t help but feel honored to be able to document such a special time in this family’s life. It was a reminder of why I do what I do and the joy that comes from creating timeless images that will be treasured for generations to come.
